The Most Expensive Alcoholic Drinks Ever Made

Care to sipple these tipples?

These are the most expensive alcoholic drinks on earth. From one of the most expensive cocktails ever produced to the ludicrous billionaire’s vodka, we take a look at the most expensive alcoholic drinks ever made.

10. The Winston cocktail – $14,000

The Winston cocktail is one of the most expensive drinks ever made
Italian master bartender Salvatore Calabrese has been mixing drinks for over fifty years and has perfected his art; he’s also known as the Maestro of bartending. The Winston is his most expensive drink, and contains Cognac Croizet 1858 Cuvee Leonie, Chartreuse Viellissement Exceptionellement Prolongé, Grand Marnier Quintessence, andAngostura Bitters.

9. Legacy by Angostura – $25,000

One of the most expensive alcohols ever made
Legacy is a rum made by award-winning Angostura of Trinidad. This blend comes in a 500ml bottle and is made up of seven of Angostura’s finest rums, each of which have been aged for at least 17 years. Each bottle is hand-made by master craftsmen and only twenty have ever been sold. The rum was made to commemorate Trinidad and Tobago’s 50th year of independence.

8. 1811 Château d’Yquem – $130,00

This wine is one of the most expensive in the world.
Robert Parker, a connoisseur of wine gave this tasty drop a perfect score of 100 and is universally coveted as one of the finest white wines ever produced.

The Château d’Yquem has been producing wine since 1711 and is known for producing exquisite wine. The Château creates very high end wine, but the 1811 is the most expensive and is regarded to be the finest because of its age and rarity.

7. Penfolds Ampoule – $170,000

This is one of the most expensive bottles of wine ever produced.
Only twelve bottles of Ampoule were ever made. The bottles are glass-blown and the wooden case the wine comes in was specially designed by the master furniture maker Andrew Bartlett. The wine inside is Penfolds Block 42 Kalimna Cabernet Sauvignon 2004 vintage and each bottle contains only enough to fill one wine glass, so make sure you savour it.

6. Dalmore 62 – $215,000

This is one of the most expensive alcohols ever made.
Much like other drinks on this list, only twelve bottles of Dalmore 62 were produced. The whisky has been aged for 64 years and the most recent bottle was sold at Changai airport in Singapore. I’m not really sure why one of the finest and most expensive whiskies ever made was sold at an airport – let’s hope that price is duty free.
