The photo appears to show a withered old hag dressed in dirty rags floating above the floor with outstretched hands.

“That is the first time in my life I’ve actually had the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. It freaked me out. It freaked (my niece) out,” Brown said in a newspaper report.

‘I’m positive I would have noticed something like that and it was strange.’ Brown added, It wasn’t noticed until we looked at the pictures.’

The museum has a history of strange occurrences particularly when it played host to a Titanic exhibition. Security guards have reported unusual shadows showing up on cameras and objects mysteriously moving around by themselves.

Take a look between the legs of the girls second and third from the left. You can clearly see the face of a young boy peering out from behind the group. 1. The Enfield House Haunting

The Telegraph

This photo taken in 1977 is of young girl named Janet Hodgson. You may not know her by name but her family’s real life experiences formed the basis for the supernatural horror film, The Conjuring 2.

Taken while Janet and her family were living in a council house in Enfield, North London, this photo supposedly shows one of the numerous times she was lifted from her bed and thrown across the room by supernatural forces.

The Hodgson family claim to have witnessed many strange things while living at the house including furniture levitating and moving around the room as well as lego bricks and marbles flying through the air. On one occasion, Janet’s mother Peggy called the police after hearing a strange knocking sound coming from the walls and floor. The police officer reported witnessing a chair rise up and move across the floor on its own, in full view of everyone.

A member of the Society for Psychical Research, Maurice Grosse was called to investigate the haunting. During his time at the house, he claimed to have witnessed sofas floating and tipping over as well as tables and chests of drawers spinning on the spot.

One one occasion, Grosse and a neighbour heard Janet’s sister Rose crying out ‘I can’t move! It’s holding my leg!’ They found her at the top of the staircase, standing on one leg with the other outstretched behind her. Both Grosse and the neighbour grabbed Rose by the wrists and pulled as hard as they could but she could not be moved.

The family eventually moved from the house but to this day, Janet refuses to talk about the haunting in front of her own children.
