The case was finally dismissed when the court ruled that the author did not commit any type of ‘actual malice’.

1. Biff is Based on Trump

Back to the Future’s villain, Biff Tannen is actually based on Donald Trump. After years of fan speculation, screenwriter Bob Gale finally admitted that the oafish bully from the popular science fiction trilogy was indeed modelled off Donald Trump.

In Back to the Future 2, released in 1989 Biff opens a 27 story casino after using a sports almanac from the future to become rich. The dishonest Biff then uses his wealth to influence US politics. The story is so eerily similar, it seems the writers of these films may have actually had a time travelling DeLorean!?
