5. Ghost Filmed in Jail Cell

This short clip taken from a jail security camera was posted to 812nyc’s YouTube channel in 2010. The footage, which was captured from above, shows a dark, shadowy figure pacing around the cell. The figure then appears to climb on top of the toilet before disappearing completely.
Many believe that the figure seen in this clip is indeed a ghost. Perhaps that of a former inmate who may have died in this very cell. Some even think that he may actually be re-tracing his final steps before he hung himself from on top of the toilet.

4. Camera Catches Woman Living in Roof

In 2009, Joe Cummings began noticing food going missing from his Manhattan apartment so he decided to set up a camera in the kitchen to see what was happening. The footage, uploaded to the YouTube channel, biljj nyc shows a disheveled woman climbing out of the roof and onto a small table. She then uses a chair to quietly step down onto the floor.
Carefully opening the fridge door, the intruder begins to drink out of a carton she finds inside. She stashes several items in her pockets before moving over to the cupboard and taking a few more.
At one point, the intruder hears a noise and quickly hides out of view. Cummings is then seen entering the kitchen. He opens the fridge and proceeds to pour himself a drink from the same carton the woman had drunk from moments earlier!
He soon leaves and the woman reappears. She continues rummaging through the kitchen, stashing a few more items before climbing back into the roof.
When Cummings reviewed the video he was completely creeped out by what he saw and immediately called the police. The police arrested the woman and informed Cummings that she had probably been living in his roof for at least two weeks! They thought that she may have initially entered the apartment via a window with the intention of robbing the place but then decided to stow away in the crawl space above the kitchen.
3. Guard Chases Ghost Through Hotel

This footage was taken from a security camera at The Plaza Resort and Spa in Daytona Beach, Florida. On the 25th August, 2013, hotel security chief Chris Lenkiewicz and his staff noticed something very strange on the monitors.
In a downstairs bar, a ghostly apparition can be seen moving around the room and at several points, it even appears to change shape. The apparition then seems to hide behind the bar from a security guard who was sent down to investigate.
When asked about the incident, Lankiewicz said “The guy upstairs was telling him, ‘go behind the bar! It’s behind the bar!’ So he started to go behind the bar and he said ‘no way!’ And he got out of here!”
Many believe that the hotel is indeed haunted with several staff members claiming to have seen and heard some very unusual things. Lankiewicz himself even claims to have had supernatural encounters on the property saying “I have doors held, like you’re pulling on a door and the door is not locked, and walk in and there’s nobody in there.”
Much of the paranormal activity is reported to occur in room 1111, where a guest once fell to his death from the balcony.

2. Alien Lurking in Backyard

Uploaded to HandleBandle’s YouTube channel in 2016, this chilling footage allegedly shows an alien, peering into someone’s backyard late at night.
The resident noticed that his sensor light kept coming on at strange hours during the night so he decided to install a security camera to see if he could see any unusual activity.
Just after the sensor light turns off at the beginning of the clip, you can faintly see some sort of small humanoid creature peering out from behind the fence. The footage is very dark however, and the creature is quite difficult to see.
Then, the creature trips the sensor light once again. This time you can clearly make it out as it cautiously peers out from behind the fence once more.
The creature is short and has large black eyes and a pointy, gaunt face. It can only be seen for a brief second before disappearing into the darkness.

Uploaded to tommyTlaG’s YouTube channel in 2008, this creepy footage is sure to keep you awake at night. The uploader claims that their friend had been hearing strange noises in her bedroom so she decided to set up a camera to see what was happening. This is what the camera captured.
The video shows the woman lying in bed when something can be seen moving to the left of screen. Whatever it is, it appears to start tugging at the blankets. Then, the thing seems to jump onto the bed. As it climbs off, the woman is seen stirring but doesn’t seem to notice.
Some have suggested that it might actually be the hand of something that is reaching out, almost as though it is trying to stroke the woman’s hair.
The uploader claims that the woman was awake the whole time and didn’t feel a thing.
